Branding A Perpetual Harvest

A predictive plant care brand and website built for the everyday grower, not the professional farmer.

The Problem

TerraFarm had a strong product and no distinctive brand. In a category full of green, soft, generic plant apps, it risked looking like everything else before anyone even opened it.

All apps in the plant care space follow the same generalised colour palette with a varying collection of greens.

What We Made

A full visual identity and one-page marketing website built around a single distinctive app icon, a custom produce illustration set, and a type system that scales from app to web.

So we created branding that was filled with healthy colour and stood apart from all other plant apps.

Icons

All icons were hand drawn to replicate cut out paper elements for all fruit and vegetables.

Why It Works

The red tomato on mustard yellow exists because no competitor uses it. The cut-paper style feels handmade without looking rustic. The "cheeky granny" voice works across generations without talking down to anyone.

We wanted a unique interactive experience for the user so we built the website to replicate how amateur farmers experience growing food.
