Designing a Home for Every UK Founder
A brand, platform, and digital ecosystem built to unify the UK startup landscape at national scale
The Problem
What started as a local Edinburgh founder events calendar was outgrowing itself. Startup listings, funding opportunities, venture builders, and ecosystem resources were scattered with no single place to find them. The UK had no unified infrastructure for founders, and nothing that looked or felt like it deserved to be that.
What We Made
A nationally scaled brand and digital ecosystem built from a blank slate. We designed the full identity system, including a compass mark and four-colour palette representing the UK's nations, built a structured web platform consolidating startups, funding, events, and resources in one place, and integrated an active Slack community to drive founder connection. The result is a scalable, founder-focused infrastructure designed for discovery, connection, and long-term growth.

Why It Works
The information architecture was structured around scalable content taxonomies, supporting cross-regional data aggregation without sacrificing navigational clarity. The visual language centres on momentum and direction, giving it national reach with a distinct identity. Every design decision traces back to a founder need.
